Answers on Healing Insecurity with Reiki and EFT by Judith Conway

Question: I would like to know more about healing insecurity through Reiki. Should we give Reiki to the root chakra? Is that sufficient to heal insecurity that has existed for years. Where else should Reiki be given? Secondly, I have stuttering problem, which I believe is also due to insecurity. How do I heal this through Reiki? Any feedback, suggestions are most welcome. I really need Reiki advice. Thanks & Thanks to Reiki. S. Kishan

Answer by Judith Conway, Founder of Chikara-Reiki-Do: Hi, S. Kishan. I’ll try to answer your questions one by one.

Question: I would like to know more about healing insecurity through Reiki.
Answer: Our deepest Fear is that of being alone – which makes us feel very insecure. But there is only really one problem we all share…that of FEAR. And there is only one solution…that of LOVE. Whatever makes you feel loved and cared for, will make you feel safe and secure. But only you know what works for you. However I think that using EFT techniques followed by soothing Reiki will help you surmount your deepest insecurity fears.

Question: Should we give Reiki to the root chakra?
Answer: Yes, and if you don’t mind I’ll refer you to the first part of my Reiki mini course which covers this nicely.

Question: Is giving Reiki to the rook chakra enough to heal insecurity that has existed for years.
Answer: Yes it is, but remember, there is only NOW, this moment in time. Using Reiki for yourself NOW, this moment, will help to relieve the anxiety of the situation, NOW. If your stress, fear, panic, anxiety levels rise too much, too quickly, use a tapping sequence of EFT to lower the FEAR back to more manageable size and knock it on the head for good. Question: Where else should Reiki be given?
Answer: Anywhere in your body that you notice a build up of stress, anxiety, and/or insecurity. If you notice you get a knot in your tummy place your hands over this area and use the Mental/Emotional Symbol reiki hand positions. If you get a congested headache place your hands over your temples – and use the Mental/Emotional Symbol to create the balance you are looking for. You can also use the reiki hand positions with the Distance symbol to send Reiki back to the time when the FEAR first took hold and became a problem. Simply go back and change the past. See it as you would have liked it to be and how you feel things would be now if that had been the case.

Again you can use EFT tapping if your memories get a bit too strong and vivid…Change the events of the past by pretending, to start with, and in that pretence you will find the real you begins to emerge.

Question: Secondly, I have stuttering problem, which I believe is also due to insecurity. How do I heal this through Reiki?
Answer: Most people who stutter are afraid to express themselves in any way, shape, or form. They grab themselves by the throat and ‘throttle’ themselves. But if we only express ourselves ‘mentally’ as it were, then that leaves a lot unsaid. Using the hand positions with the Usui Master Symbol on your throat chakra will help release the stranglehold you keep on yourself – enabling you to communicate your true feelings more clearly. And going beyond Reiki…Being seen is one thing but making yourself heard is another. Speaking your truth can be difficult at times, especially if you do not trust yourself enough. You have to trust that you do know what is best and right for YOU. More than anyone else does, even me…ha ha ha!!!

Your YES and your NO steers a course through your life. A simple YES or NO puts you in control, in the driving seat of your life. You’ve probably heard about choices and decisions, attitudes and beliefs, thoughts and feelings, desires, imagination and expectancy…But a simple YES or NO will do as a grand starting point. 🙂
