Everyone Should Have a Reflexology Foot Chart

Let's see, why would you need a color Reflexology foot chart?

Reflexology is regarded as a natural healing science.

This healing modality is totally based on a technique that applies pressure on minute areas of the feet.

This pressure actually stimulates important points on the foot that transfers energy throughout the body to stimulate balance throughout the body.

Reflexology Foot Chart

Reflexology is a very efficient healing modality for addressing a number of stress related ailments like:

  • Migraines
  • Infertility
  • Arthritis
  • Sleep Disorders
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Sports Injuries
  • Digestive Disorders
  • Back Pain
  • Stress-Related Conditions

Apart from these ailments, reflexology is also beneficial for treating bronchitis, pre-menstrual tension, asthma, and irritable bowel syndrome. Because the foot is the most essential area for working with pressure points this makes finding free download reflexology charts a must for reference when giving foot massages at home, or for the person interested in learning more about foot Reflexology. Color charts are especially nice for they are so easy to understand.

History shows that Reflexology dates back to around 2500 BC. It was widely used by the Egyptians, the Indians, and the Chinese. Even some of the African tribes people worked with the points on the foot. There is a definite relationship between reflexology and acupuncture or acupressure as their treatments are based on the principals of using stimulation on dynamic meridian lines. With each healing system, there is a theory that if one part is affected by an imbalance then the rest of the human body is also affected. A real nice point, (no pun intended) is that Reflexology never uses needles in its treatments. You can request our free printable reflexology chart below, and enjoy sharing foot massages while working with the various reflexology points to test the benefits for yourself.

History also shares that Reflexology was introduced to the Western world as 'zone therapy' by Dr William Fitzgerald in 1913. Later it was formulated and further developed by Eunice Ingham during 1930's. Reflexology is now accepted as a complementary alternative therapy having its prime target being the feet for healing an individual from ailments.

For all these reasons the reflexology foot chart in color will help to easily guide you as you experiment with this wonderful form of natural healing. In any case, this therapy can be applied to individuals of all ages. It offers so much potential to assist in easing a number of ailments no matter how long lasting, acute, or chronic they may be. As you work from a colorful chart you may just find another benefit of this fabulous healing technique is that it also offers relaxation that is devoid of any side effects.

Most often prenatal vitamins with Folic acid are recommended. Also a cut back or elimination of drinks that contain caffeine. A proper body mass index between 20-30 is recommended. Stress management is also important. Ovulation happens about 14 days before your menstrual period. The closer you are to the day you ovulate the better your chances of becoming pregnant. Also Reflexology has been used to help women conceive because it reduces stress. Work is done on the endocrine and reproductive systems to achieve balance.

I have incorporated reflexology into my massage practice for the past 13 years. I believe anything that has been taught and practiced for thousands of years truly does have merit. I even had one client who says we broke up her kidney stones through reflexology.

Hi Robert, working the digestive system, liver and spleen could be helpful with detoxing which could be a benefit. Also there is some research available suggesting Reflexology could help to desensitize an autistic child with touch sensitivity.

Hi Marcia, you may want to try and elevate your legs some during the day. They may also swell more in hot humid weather. Exercise can also be helpful. Some people will try and wear compression socks for this which would not be wise if you had diabetes.
