Get to Know Your Clients: Different people respond differently to pressure applied to their muscles and soft tissues. As you massage your client, inquire if the pressure is pleasurable, too hard or too soft. What one client considers too much pressure another may feel its not enough.

You want your client to be relaxed and comfortable. You also want your clients muscles and soft tissues to respond favorably. Note what you learn in each session about your clients preferences and how their body responds in your client record so you'll know how best to treat your client upon return visits.
